God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24 KJV)

City of Refuge Worship Ministry leads others to worship God in humility, intimacy and passion. Its mission is to improve the effectiveness of the worship experience by supporting the altar call, communal prayer and study. In addition, it supports community-based worship for targeted groups and baptism for congregants who come in faith for spiritual healing, restoration and deliverance.

Bridges the unreconciled soul back to Jesus Christ through baptism. The Baptism ministry team is dedicated to rendering a spiritual atmosphere for COR members, and the community, to solidify godly love toward all who seek to be baptized.

Altar Workers

The altar is a place of conversion where congregants come to be reconciled to Christ. Altar workers assist in sustaining order, praying with people as they encounter God’s presence and providing them with opportunities to repent, be baptized and be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Corporate Prayer

The Corporate Prayer ministry team promotes and facilitates a community united in prayer, wherein the Holy Spirit is free to fill, heal, empower, and bring forth spiritual transformation.
